Charles Barkley and Candace Parker joined Gayle King on Thursday to discuss several topics, including the NCAA women’s basketball tournament and fans harassing LSU Tigers superstar Angel Reese. Barkley, in turn, made a light-hearted comment bringing up his usual target, Shaquille O’Neal, as bait.

Parker then said that Shaq will always remain the same and is more or less a jack**s. She also mentioned that she idolized Charles Barkley as she finds working with them an unbelievable feat.

During the NBA broadcast, TNT runs two crews for pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows. We see O’Neal, Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson in the first. The four-time NBA champion also features alongside Adam Lefkoe, Jamal Crawford, and Candace Parker for the second feature.

Shaquille O’Neal and Barkley have been seen to have an unmatched chemistry; hence, it is projected to be a must-watch television show; this in no way discredits the second crew because they are ever entertaining. The O’Neal and Barkley duo is always a sensation; they derive utmost pleasure in roasting each other, and they even team up to make jokes about others. They have become synonymous with each other, and it is unarguable that they are the prominent faces of ‘Inside the NBA,’ which is today a hit in the NBA community.

Charles Barkley on why he doesn’t want Bronny to play with LeBron James

Bronny James broke the internet with his NBA 2024 Draft declaration and, as a result, took one step closer to giving the league its first father-son duo. However, Chuck stated on CNN why he doesn’t want the partnership to occur.

I don’t want him (LeBron James) to play with his son. I want his son to develop his own name. If he goes to LeBron’s team, I think it would put too much of a spotlight on him because LeBron’s a brighter star of this generation.
Charles Barkley said

Being the most prominent player, LeBron James would steal all the spotlight from his son, who would need to carve his niche, which would delay or possibly stagnate his development. According to “The Round Mound of Rebound,” Bronny does not need to play with his legendary father.

However, there’s no guarantee he would get drafted or join the same team as his dad. But that being said, Bronny James needs to be his own man, and the earlier, the better.
