He is a great player critic and the most honest person to say it without thinking twice as he picks many hot takes against NBA players every now and then. Recently, sitting alongside Shaquille O’Neal and other crew members at NBA on TNT he came up with a bold claim regarding the playoffs’ first-round battle between the New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns.
The Phoenix Suns hosted the New Orleans Pelicans at the Footprint Center for Game 1 of the series. The game was closely contested and head to head until Chris Paul taking the matter into his hand stepped up to deliver and carry his team across since they were struggling. The Phoenix Suns got themselves a hard-earned win as they fought for it. The final box score stands at 110-99 favoring the Phoenix Suns. Chris Paul in the game dropped 30 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds while he was backed up by Devin Booker as he got 25 points, 8 assists, and 4 rebounds. The other players of the Phoenix Suns weren’t that good and inefficient on both the ends. This has many doubting their series as they think the Pelicans have a chance but Charles Barkley brought in a completely different take.
Charles Barkley thinks the New Orleans Pelicans don’t really have a chance against the Chris Paul and Devin Booker-led Phoenix Suns even though everyone is creating a hype around them. He also gave away a guaranteed outcome from his side which says the Phoenix Suns are going to destroy the Zion Williamson less New Orleans Pelicans in the first-round series and will advance further for sure as they are the better ones.
