Kenny Smith, another notable NBA figure, playfully joined in on the teasing by suggesting that Shaq’s children might all become successful accountants. In response, Shaq, with a good-natured tone, quipped that his kids would be financially prosperous regardless of their career choices.
The host, Ernie Johnson, attempted to steer the conversation in a different direction, but Barkley and Shaq continued their lighthearted jokes about Shaq’s son Shareef who received a brand-new car. While trolling Shaq, Barkley said, “If he’s got your brain, he got no chance.” Their constant entertaining banter is a long-standing and beloved feature of “Inside the NBA,” showcasing the strong chemistry between Barkley and Shaq.
