Charles Barkley turns down massive LIV Golf deal
Recently, the former MVP was caught up in a controversial deal discussion with LIV Golf. The tournament’s director Greg Norman approached him and offered a position that would make him the face of their media team. Charles Barkley admitted he was interested in the deal and wanted the money. But due to a lack of interest shown by LIV, he terminated further discussions.
Charles would have landed himself a better deal with LIV if he had to allow them time. But according to him, he did not want Turner Sports Media or his crew over at the NBA on TNT show to keep waiting without a decision being made. He chose to stay loyal with them thus solidifying his relationship with Shaquille O’Neal as well.
