“You suit better with Shaq” Charles Barkley set to lose $75 Million after LIV Golf keep him hanging

Charles Barkley holds a very special place in the hearts of NBA fans all around the world. The former league MVP has been contributing his time as a television analyst signed under TNT. His presence of the hit show ‘Inside the NBA’ has almost become a staple, for without him the future of the group seems a dull from a fan’s perspective.
Recently, the former Phoenix Suns legend was offered a role else where which required him to possibly leave his job at TNT. Not everyone received it well especially since it would mean the breaking up of the Shaquille O’Neal-Chuck duo. He also admitted being interested in the offer but no leads have surfaced yet according to him.
LIV Golf approached Charles Barkley to join their media team
Charles Barkley revealed in an interview with Dan Patrick, that Director of LIV Golf approached him while having dinner together. Greg Norman, had laid out the idea of the All-timer becoming the face of the tournament’s media team. With this offer sounding too good to turned down, he quickly accepted it and continued the discussions.
Church happens to be signed under TNT until 2025 after which he could choose to either continue working or retire from sports television. But this new role shows that he is still willing to contribute to sports entertainment for as long as he can go. The Hall of Famer also said that he had given LIV a deadline to come up with a good deal, following which he will terminate the idea of leaving his current role. Norman has apparently not given him any reply as yet.
Charles Barkley is at risk of losing his sponsors
Charles Barkley was recently interviewed about the situation while he was playing Golf while playing Pro-am with LIV. Being a legend as he is, many companies have been sponsoring him for a long while now. It was revealed that he could potentially lose upto $75 million in sponsorship if a decision is not being made soon. The former Philadelphia 76ers seems to have given them ample time but clock is slowly running out.
“They haven’t offered me a contract. They asked if I was interested, I said yes…But I’m not going to keep TNT at limbo, that’s not fair to them. They are concerned, not only they are concerned, my sponsors are concerned. I’ve heard from Subway, Capital One, Dick’s Sporting Goods, so at some point I’m gonna have to make a decision. Plain and simple.”
