Be it outside Chase Center, or anywhere Hall of Famer big man Charles Barkley is not slowing down to showcase his support for Luka Doncic’s Mavs in the Western Conference Finals. Moreover, the former Phoenix Suns MVP wants has come up with new ways to leave fans in splits as he arrived for Game 3 pre-show on his utter ridiculous ride.
Given that Dallas is always deemed as a city of Cowboys, Barkley decided to show his true spirit as he arrived to the American Center riding a horse. Which not only left the crew bonkers bamboozled but made the home fans give him a huge cheer. Safe to say, Charles Barkley has gone beyond all levels to show how much he wants the home team to edge past Warrior, whose fanbase he simply cannot see happy.
Charles Barkley unapologetically urges Mavs to top Warriors in Game 3
Charles Barkley doesn’t think the Mavericks are better than the Warriors. However, he didn’t hide his desire to see the Dubs lose because of their fans.
“I don’t think they’re [Mavs] the best team. I just can’t pick the Golden State Warriors because I hate their fans. Their fans are obnoxious… I just wanna see these people suffer,” Barkley said.
The home fans would not surely like Barkley’s reasoning but at least they have a Hall of Famer who is going beyond all extent to show his support for them. Will they be able to edge past Stephen Curry and co. is a separate issue but Mavs would surely be hoping to give the spoken off personnel more reason to cheer for them.
While Mavs could not hold onto a crucial 14-point halftime lead in Game 2, all eyes will be on how they tackle Warriors’ X-Factor Kevin Looney and Andrew Wiggins in Game 3. Having caused plethora of troubles from the paint and in the rebound range, Mavericks will be hoping to not be sent over to the edge of the cliff with another loss. Because if they do end up on the losing side, the chances of facing elimination in front of their home fans could very well become a reality.
