“Flat Out Scary” Charles Barkley warns the NBA about incoming wrath of Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland Cavaliers

NBA analyst Charles Barkley recently talked about the revamped roster of the NBA team Cleveland Cavaliers. He also highly praised the team and their newest recruit Donovan Mitchell. He said the Cavaliers are the best NBA team currently and can pocket the title if everything goes right for them.

Charles Barkley was talking on the show NBA on TNT where he stated, “In a series, that team right there is flat out scary.” The Cleveland Cavaliers have built a strong roster and are one of the top contenders. Donovan Mitchell’s addition is considered as icing on the cake.

Donovan made an early impact while playing for the Cavaliers as he is a all-star player. They have won 2 matches and lost one in the ongoing NBA regular season. The Cavs pulled off a memorable trade by acquiring Donovan back in September. He also became the first Cavalier to start the season with three straight 30-point games.

Donovan Mitchell fires the Cleveland Cavaliers to a win in over-time

Donovan Mitchell was on a roll as he registered 37 points (12-29 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 8-9 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block, and three steals in 45 minutes during Sunday’s 117-107 overtime win over Washington. Mitchell couldn’t have wished for a better start to the season. Through three games, the former Utah Jazz star has been excellent and is averaging 33.3 points, 7.0 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per contest.

The Wizards took a brief lead early in the overtime period. Still, Mitchell took over, giving Cleveland the lead for a short period. In his second straight game starting, Darius Garland, who was nursing an eye injury, finished with a game-high 37 points, adding five boards, four assists, three steals, and a block. Jarrett Allen also had his best outing of the season, doubling up again with 15 points and a game-best 14 boards, adding three assists and a pair of blocked shots.

Such powerful performances have assured the Cavs of a bright future. They possess a great chance of making it to the NBA finals. Other than a few errors, the team looks ready to takeover. The Cavs player needs to remain in form as the season has just begun, and there is a long way ahead. The Cavs bench also provides string support as and when needed.
