“You’re DUMBER than rocks,” Charles Barkley was slaughtered by own mother for not knowing household work

Charles Barkley and his mother

In a podcast episode of “The Steam Room,” Charles Barkley described how his mother taught him how to choose the clothes for the laundry. During his playing career, the former Suns forward was frequently on the road going to games when this incident happened.

From his time as an NBA player, Charles Barkley has many stories to share. Chuck had a tremendously successful career and left a permanent impression both on and off the court. You might argue that the court is where he tells his finest tales, but he just offered one that will make everyone smile and connect to his predicament.

Anyone who has watched Chuck over the years on television will confirm that the former All-Star occasionally loses his focus of thought and is then seen laughing hysterically. Chuck struggled with laundry when he was younger and had to live alone. Until his mother entered and told him what he was doing incorrectly, he kept scuffing up his clothing.

Charles Barkley- The Big Round Mound of Rebound!

Charles Barkley was unquestionably the biggest exception in basketball history as a player. He was one of the greatest power forwards in NBA history, overpowering opponents who were half a foot taller, despite being listed as 6 feet 6 but actually measuring closer to 6 feet 4 owing to his stature. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Karl Malone, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett are the only other five NBA players to have at least 20,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 4,000 assists. Barkley is one of just six players to reach this milestone.

But when talking about Barkley’s exploits, a lot of people initially recall his consistently amusing and strange running commentary on basketball and life during his 16-year NBA career. Barkley was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006, 7 years after his 1999 retirement and was also selected to the NBA’s 50th and 75th anniversary teams.. Barkley has transformed since his playing days are over into one of basketball’s biggest off-court stars, hosting TNT’s famed “Inside the NBA” coverage and delivering nonstop entertainment for basketball fans all around the world.

Barkley and his ’round mounded’ brain versus his Mom

Charles Barkley amusingly remembered how his mother scolded him for not understanding how to separate clothing for the laundry while appearing on TNT’s “The Steam Room Podcast”. He recalled: “I called my mom, I said ‘my clothes keep getting ruined… my whites got different colors on them.’ She says ‘you are separating the colors, right?’ I said ‘what do you mean? Mom, you just throw everything in the washing machine.’ She said ‘son, you’re dumber than rocks.'” He added that it was challenging since she was strict in this area and was very clean.

We’ve all been there and done that, as he indicated. Charles Barkley and other young people engage in something that is virtually an initiation ceremony. Fortunately, he only needed to make one phone call to discover that not all of the clothing needed to go in the washing machine. Fans are aware of Barkley’s ignorance because to his time spent working with TNT on television. The Internet never wastes time in showing video of the seasoned forward dozing off during live television, proving that he isn’t the most attentive player.
