“He would have equaled LeBron’s 4 or topped Kobe’s 5” Chris Broussard believes Kevin Durant ruined his chances of winning another championship by leaving Warriors

Kevin Durant - Brooklyn Nets
Kevin Durant leading the offensive attack of the Golden State Warriors alongside Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry was a nightmare for each and every opposition. Having won multiple NBA Championships, the Dubs seemed unstoppable until KD decided to part ways and joint the Brooklyn to single-handedly lead their core, alongside new-partner-in-crime Kyrie Irving.
Having being brutally thrown out of the playoffs via the hands of Boston Celtics, it surely seems weird that KD has only won one-playoff series representing the team from Barclays Center. On the same note, sports media personality Chris Broussard decided to launch an attack on the former MVP. Moreover, criticised his decision to leave the Dubs to Nets after such incredible success.

Chris Broussard on Kevin Durant

While discussing Kevin Durant with Colin Cowherd on the latest episode of The Herd, Broussard stated, “He was in the perfect situation in Golden State. Plop into the line-up and shoot your jumper, that was it. And he was the best player on that team, who knows how many rings he would have won. Very good chance he would have topped LeBron’s four and equalled Kobe’s five, so he did blow it.”
Kevin Durant, Nets have a task on their hand to re-inform and re-build the team in order to contest for the championship in the upcoming 2022-23 season. With major questions being raised upon the duoship of Irving and KD, it will be key to witness how these two marquees perform as there would be millions of eye balls wanting to pick their vulnerabilities.

That being said, the Nets might have been thrown out of the playoffs, but Kevin Durant’s former team, Golden State Warriors are performing better than ever with their young stud Jordan Poole supporting the scoring prowess of Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. Where will the Golden State Warriors finish in the 2021-22 playoffs? Remains to be an interesting sight? Will KD be criticized more, with the Dubs clinching yet another modern-era silverware? Time will unravel all answers.
