“MJ’s not the GOAT” Chris Broussard believes Scottie Pippen’s ‘tougher era’ take is a subtle jab at Michael Jordan

Chris Broussard has added another story to the ongoing and very unexpected rivalry between Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan. Both of them were best friends and won six championships together got inducted into the Hall of Fame and had each other’s back throughout the time. But only one of them was crowned as the G.O.A.T and that’s Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen didn’t really have no hate and hard feelings for it. But since the release of “The Last Dance” a documentary around MJ and the Bulls. Scottie Pippen has really got his feelings hurt and had been destroying his relationship with Black Jesus. Chris Broussard though has the situation spiced up as he believes a recent take of Pippen was a subtle jab at MJ.
Scottie Pippen recently in Las Vegas claimed the modern NBA era to be the tougher one compared to the one he and MJ played in this gave Chris Broussard an open window to think and he has linked it rightly. The former Chicago Bulls’ star quoted: “I think that watching these players, the stamina, just the pace of the game. This is a tough game. I mean to keep up with this pace, and you’ve got to be able to make shots…I think this is a tougher era to be successful because you need to be able to shoot the basketball. Bottom line, there’s guys that can get to the hole and create opportunities. But the guys that can shoot the basketball from range are much more valuable in today’s game.”
Scottie Pippen’s explanation to his claim has him placed right and there’s no wrong with him believing the modern era to be a tougher one due to more hustle-bustle. But Chris Broussard linked it to MJ as he believes that, it was just a take regarding the two eras to bring down MJ’s greatness. Honestly, Chris Broussard can be right but nothing can be claimed on it as if Scottie wants to say something about someone or fire a shot he’s not afraid to take names as he welcomes controversies.

Chris Broussard just linked the take with the ongoing story and quoted: “I’m gonna throw this out. I… and I might be wrong… but I can’t help but feel that every time Scottie Pippen makes some type of comment like this, it’s a subtle jab at his teammate, Michael Jordan. Like, ‘Jordan’s not the GOAT because he played in an easier era’ … ‘This era is tougher so the GOAT can’t come from my era.’ But that’s just my thinking.”
That’s just Chris Broussard’s thinking and it’s more like a conspiracy theory. As it can’t really be confirmed or claimed that Scottie Pippen again threw a subtle jab at Michael Jordan. But that’s a story and many are living with it while hoping that this unnecessary rivalry will end soon.
