Lately, both Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard cried out for help as they pointed out how disappointed and frustrated they were in their teams. Recently Lillard stated that he wanted just one shot at winning the championship. He was signaling the Blazers to exchange their draft picks for experienced players. He said, “I don’t have much of an appetite for bringing in guys two and three years away from really going after it.” Later adding, “The goal is to get better as soon as possible.” Beal similarly publicly highlighted his disappointment and frustration.

The fans didn’t take these comments from both players very well and felt all these statements were just excuses. The fans highlighted that Lillard and Beal were voluntarily deciding to stay with these teams. According to the fans, these players take big money and then sit and complain. This is something that doesn’t sit right with most fans. If Lillard wants to win a championship, he can force the Blazers to trade him, but he hasn’t thus far.
