Fans make a mockery of Damian Lillard after he reveals that he will be divorcing his wife a few days after he was traded to the Bucks.

Damian Lillard has managed to make headlines once again. This time however, it is not for the reasons one might think. Lillard recently announced that he and his wife, Kay’La Lillard, are ending a marriage that began on Sept. 21, 2021. The divorce came just 5 days after Lillard was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, which have raised some eyebrows as to the cause of the divorce.
The two have 3 children between them. It appears that the two were college sweethearts, ever since Lillard’s days at Weber State. The two welcomed their first child in 2018 and then had twins in Jan. 2021. They finally tied the knot later that year. Their appeared to be no turbulence in their marriage. Lillard on Oct. 2 announced however that they would be splitting due to ‘irreconcilable differences’.
The reason behind this divorce still remains unknown. Apart from Lillard’s statement revealing the divorce, the couple have given no other official statement.
Hopefully for Lillard and Bucks fans, his divorce doesn’t affect his on-court performance. After many years, Lillard has finally been traded to a championship worthy team. His fans will be hoping that Lillard finally get the ring that he has long been chasing.

Fans on Twitter went wild at the news of Lillard’s divorce. Many drew parallels to the fact that Lillard’s divorce came just a few days after his trade to the Milwaukee Bucks.
