The lyrics of the song appear to take a pointed shot at his former team, the Portland Trail Blazers and possibly their lottery draft pick coming into this season in Scoot Henderson.

In the song, Lillard boldly asserts his irreplaceability and suggests that the team has improved since his arrival. “I can never be replaced; they’ll know sooner than later. Lillard expresses his utmost love for the fans from Portland and emphasizes that his departure is driven by unusual circumstances.
