The Miami Heat are not content with being the Eastern Conference champions. They want to add another star to their core of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. And they have a specific name in mind: Damian Lillard.
Lillard, the Portland Trail Blazers’ franchise player, has been loyal to his team and his city for 11 seasons. He has repeatedly said he wants to stay in Portland and win a championship there. But he has also shown signs of frustration with the team’s lack of progress and success in the playoffs.
