The friendship between Adebayo and Lillard is not new. In June, Lillard expressed his admiration for Adebayo during an Instagram live session. Adebayo echoed the sentiments earlier this month, speaking about their close bond on Brendan Tobin’s WQAM talk show. While emphasizing that their friendship remains separate from the business of basketball, Adebayo acknowledged that both players would enjoy playing together.
