The Phoenix Suns have got themselves a new hero in their player Damion Lee. The Suns took on the Dallas Mavericks in the season opener. Damion made an impossible conversion of a basket and took the Suns over the line.
Before the game could start, the talking point was the match-up between Devin Booker and Luka Doncic. But Damion Lee just came out of the syllabus. He made his debut for the Phoenix Suns in this game. During the last few seconds of the game, Th scores were tied, and it looked like the match will go into overtime. The Suns had possession of the ball with mere 12 seconds left. The ball was then passed to Damion Lee, who was close to the basket. The Mavericks’ defenders were over him, but the former Golden State Warriors’ star went in for the drive and converted the tough shot for 2pts.
Phoenix Suns took the lead by one with just over 09 seconds on the clock. The ball was then quickly passed on to Doncic; he sprinted with the ball toward the basket and attempted a 3-point-shot but unfortunately couldn’t convert it, and the time ended, resulting in a nearly impossible win for the Phoenix Suns. Most of the time, the Mavericks dominated the game, and everyone expected them to win. But Damion Lee just turned the tides in favor of the Suns and took them home for a win.

The Dallas Mavericks appeared to be on their way to a season-opener win, leading by 22 points in the second half. However, the Suns made a push-off late to cut Dallas’ lead to just five points heading into the last quarter. Then, everyone saw the improbable basket of Damion Lee, and the Suns pocketed the game.
