The Toronto Raptors were at the short end of the stick after today’s game against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. And their head coach Darko Rajakovic decided to get vocal about it during the post-game press conference.

This was a close game from the start. So for the game to be decided by 23 free throw attempts for the Lakers, that too in the 4th quarter was a bitter pill to swallow for the Raptors. Head Coach Rajakovic was vocal about his condemnation of whatever transpired. His furious rant in the post-game presser will definitely attract fines from the league. But, even his players supported his tirade.

The Raptors put up a valiant effort to lose by only 1 point. The Los Angeles Lakers shot 23 free throws in the 4th quarter. The Raptors in comparison shot only 4. Despite having 4 players finish with 20+ points, it was not enough to overcome the Lakers.

Anthony Davis scored 20 of his season-high 41 points from the fourth-quarter free throws. That was the level of mismatch the free throws garnered between the teams. No wonder Rajakovic went on the rant.

NBA fans took note of the rant Darko Rajakovic went on during the post-match press conference. Regardless of whatever the league decides to do, fans were not impressed with the officiating again.

This time, they supported the losing coach. It is not often you see coaches going on such a rant against the league and its officials. But knowing how the game transpired, fans were quick to support Rajakovic on social media;

The league might bring hefty fines on coach Rajakovic. However, fans have also voiced their opinion regarding the embarrassing officiating. Hopefully, the league will take notice.
