“I have a f**king name” Deandre Jordan gets humiliated by being called Deandre Ayton during Nuggets starting intro

Denver Nuggets’ newest recruit, DeAndre Jordan, was offended when he was called out as DeAndre Ayton when the Nuggets had a starting introduction. The Denver PA was announcing the names when he mistook DeAndre Jordan for DeAndre Ayton. It was a hilarious mistake made in Denver on Monday night when the Nuggets introduced their starting line-up to the home crowd.

The newly signed veteran DeAndre Jordan stepped into the starting center spot for some preseason action, as their primary center Nikola Jokic was sitting out. The Denver PA announcer had all the details on Jordan’s intro right up until he got to his last name, mistakenly saying, “AYYYTTTOOOOONNNN” with his puffed chest before realizing his mistake and changing it to “JOOORRRDDDAAANNN.”

Nuggets forward Davon Reed, who previously played for the Phoenix Suns, was the first to react to this hilarious situation. Jordan then responded the same way and looked ready to leave the team huddle on the court before staying in it. No one would have liked such a mistake with their name after playing so much of the NBA league. Jordan clearly didn’t look happy with this, even though it seemed funny to the third-party people involved.

Denver Nuggets replaced Nikola Jokic with DeAndre Jordan at the center for the pre-season games and likely for the regular season, which is to start soon. Nikola is missing out on games due to some wrist issue. DeAndre grabbed this opportunity with both hands. He leads the team successfully with ten rebounds for two games in a row. He also played a part in the offense side as well.

Jordan will continue to back up Jokic as soon as he makes an entry to the starting line-up. Jordan registered seven points (3-5FG, 1-1 FT), ten rebounds, and two assists in the 22 minutes he played on the court and led his side to a win over the Phoenix Suns team with a score line of 107-105 on Monday. He will also hope he gets to play as many games as possible in the regular season.
