Nikola Jokic and DeMarcus Cousins
Nikola Jokic fought his way through the entire Western Conference and the league to get to where his team is at the moment. The Denver Nuggets finished their season down two major contributors on offense. They somehow managed to stay afloat beating teams better than themselves and the Joker made it point to prove himself.

Jokic showed a bit of struggle during the initial games as Draymond Green ta tackled him down to his weakest points.

DeMarcus Cousins defends Nikola Jokic calling him one of the most disrespected MVPs ever.
DeMarcus Cousins signed with the Nuggets in January after bouncing around for a while. After failing to get past his former team, the big man opened up about the situation against them during the series hinting that it may have been the factor of experience that gave the Warriors an advantage. He also spoke about his teammate Nikola Jokic saying, “I’ve always respected him. He’s an incredible talent. Outside of Russ, probably one of the most disrespected MVPs in this league. His game speaks for itself.”
Draymond Green also had much appreciation for Denver’s center saying, “I just told him, thank you for making me better. It’s absolutely incredible to play against a guy like that. Incredible talent, it’s an honor and pleasure to play against someone so talented and so skilled. And usually, when you have a guy that is that talented and skilled, they are a little soft, he’s far far from soft.”
