And now we’re supposed to get her out – and she makes, you know, a lot of money, I guess – and we’re supposed to get her out for an absolute killer and one of the biggest arms dealers in the world”.
At a news conference last month, Secretary of State Antony Blinken revealed the potential agreement and that he intended to discuss the prisoner swap with his Russian counterpart during their first meeting since the invasion. Griner, who may receive a 10-year jail term, entered a guilty plea earlier this month, saying she did so to “take full responsibility for her acts,” according to her legal team.
