Former President Donald Trump seems to have no decrease in hatred for LeBron James as he openly admitted to disliking the LA Lakers superstar while addressing the FINA’s ban on transgender swimmers in a recent rally. Moreover, he even got a cheer this time around from the thousands present at his spoken off rally.
To those who are not aware, FINA recently delivered a landmark judgement wherein transgender athletes are banned from competing in the Women’s competitions. On the same note, Donald Trump went onto reveals as incident on how a women-swimmer was ‘Wind Burned’ while competing a transgender swimmer. LeBron James once again fired by former US President Donald Trump
Trump started by stating, “She’s (Unnamed Women swimmer) getting ready, she’s up, she looks at the people she is competing with..looks left..looks right and then she sees this person…HOLY MAN. This guy had a wingspan. It was the longest human being she had seen. His arms went down to the floor.
“You know what she said to herself, when she looked at him? But I won’t say it on camera. She said HOLY SHIT, I’m in trouble. This athlete (female swimmer) was really sad as she got injured. She got ‘wind-burned’”.
Trump then suggested that these competitions have undoubtedly been unfair to women, “I mean if I were a basketball coach, but I’ll be hiring the greatest basketball team of all-time. I can’t stand LeBron James but I would say LeBron did you ever think about going women, cause if you did I would like to put you on my team.”
That being said this decision made on Monday has come after weeks of deliberations on the topic which stemmed from US transgender swimmer Lia Thomas dominating women’s collegiate events. FINA, the global organising body for swimming and diving in addition to other aquatic sports such as water polo, additionally created when they call an ‘open category’ for transgender swimmers to compete in.
