Donovan Mitchell on possible trade request away from Utah Jazz
“My mindset is to win, you know. Like I said, right now, I’m not really looking at that. For me, I just want to win,” Mitchell said regarding whether or not he could ask for a trade from the Jazz this offseason. “This hurts, and like I said, I will think about in a week and kind of go from there. But right now, I’m not really thinking about any of that. To be completely honest with you, I’m not. I said that earlier in the year, I’m just not thinking about that.”

That certainly won’t cool down any rumors of a potential offseason trade involving Mitchell, who has long since been linked to the New York Knicks though there would surely be other possible suitors if he does request a trade.

Talking about the form and number of Donovan Mitchell for Utah Jazz, he managed to average more than 25 points, 5 assist and 4 rebounds in the 2021-22 season, but was below-expectations in majority of the games for the team against Dallas Mavericks in the first-round. The 25-year-old New York native, Mitchell is under contract with the Jazz through the 2025-26 season. He signed a five-year, $163 million deal with the Jazz in 2020. Will he be partying ways before that time? If yes, then which team is going to ruin the party in Utah and steal their star away? Remains to be seen.
