In a closely contested match between the Sacramento Kings and the Golden State Warriors, Stephen A. Smith took note of the impressive performance by Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox. Despite losing by a single point, Smith praised the young player, stating that he has emerged as a superstar in the league. He went on to compare Fox to other elite point guards like Ja Morant, highlighting his ability to outscore even Stephen Curry in the series.

However, Smith did offer a bit of criticism towards Fox for giving away a game-deciding play to Harrison Barnes. Smith, who is known for his passionate opinions, advised that Fox should have taken the shot himself rather than passing it to Barnes.

Despite this, Smith still gave credit to the Kings for their valiant effort and acknowledged the impressive performances by other players such as Malik Monk and Keegan Murray.

Despite the praise for the Kings’ performance in game four, Smith still maintains his original prediction that the Warriors will win the series in seven games. He cites Golden State’s star power with the likes of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, along with their experience in high-pressure situations, as reasons for their eventual victory.

Smith also raises concerns about the Kings’ ability to handle a game seven, particularly with their relatively young roster outside of veterans like Harrison Barnes and coach Mike Brown. He suggests that the Warriors should go for the kill in Game 5, knowing that they have the advantage of a potential game six on their home court.

As the series moves forward, it remains to be seen if the Kings can pull off an upset and overcome the odds against the favored Warriors. However, one thing is certain – the emergence of De’Aaron Fox as a superstar player in the league is a bright spot for the Kings and a sign of hope for their future.
