Brooks, known for his time as a guard for the Memphis Grizless in the NBA, had his name mentioned in Drake’s recent album. This made fans and critics claim that the song was aimed at Brooks. Brooks is known for his aggressive playing style and trash talks during games.

The song in the album “Another Late Night” lyrics mentioned Brooks, “Ayy, thinking ’bout this pill I took, pillow talking Shawty ran some Dillon Brooks, can’t believe this ni**a talking, damn.” The line raised speculation of any conflict between Brooks and the hip-hop star.

The future of Dillon Brooks in the NBA

Brooks’s journey goes back to the 2017 NBA draft when he was picked as the 45th overall selection. He was initially drafted by the Houston Rockets but was immediately traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.
