Warriors forward Draymond Green has been fined by the team for his actions reported by head coach Steve Kerr. The video of the scuffle was leaked, where one can see the two players exchanging words. Then, Green slowly walked towards Poole and got in his face, and Poole pushed Green. Then, Green punched Poole. The All-Star forward did not face a suspension and returned to practice on Thursday.

Green’s teammate Jordan Poole showed maturity and said it was unnecessary to suspend Green, who is in the final year of his contract with the Warriors. Green, however, spent time away from the team after the conflict while the rest of the group continued with the preseason matches. He does have a $27 million player option for next season.
