Draymond Green had quite the scenes to show for in the last game against the Los Angeles Clippers. As covered by us, Green got into a gesture show, taunting the Clippers’ Paul George with a show of 4 fingers indicating his 4 championships. He also gestured something with his mouth which was a mystery, until now. Leaked audio footage reveals what Green said to George throughout the matchup.
The Golden State Warriors were in the lead in the fourth quarter. After Green was called for a foul, Paul George kept talking to the referees. That is when Green is heard saying;
Soft a** ni***r
When George asks Green whom is he referring to with that N-word, Green replied saying;
You know it… You a b*tch
This led to further arguments between them on the court. Paul George was flamed by this and continued to get into foul trouble with Green. Then, Mason Plumlee‘s flagrant foul on Brandin Podziemski happened. This led to further arguments between Warriors and Clippers players. In between all of this, Green continued to taunt George by calling him a “pu**y” in the midst of players, staff, and referees.
After this, Green was seen gesturing to George from the sidelines. Initially, Green showed four fingers, taunting George that he has 4 championships to show for George’s none. Then, Green mouthed the words “pu**y b*tch” to George.
Draymond Green’s antics lead to Paul George’s exit
When the fourth quarter started, Paul George had two fouls in three quarters. Then the first war of words with Draymond Green took place. After this, Green drew a foul from George while setting a screen. This started to get into George’s head.
Finally, George committed a head-scratching offensive foul. Then a couple of more fouls occurred, which are generally uncharacteristic of the elite defender George generally is. Finally, his 6th foul came against Green again, this time for not timing a steal attempt correctly.
It seems Draymond Green’s antics did get to Paul George. Even though the Warriors lost the game, Green’s use of choice words did the trick. The Warriors, in turn, made the most of it and slammed to a rare win.
