The Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green has again found himself in a bind with his third ejection of the current NBA season for his act against the Phoenix Suns Jusuf Nurkic and it turns out Green’s former teammate Nick Young has a take on the star forwards recent ejection in his appearance on the segment of “Undisputed”.
Nick Young who last played for the Denver Nuggets in the 2018 NBA season calls out his former teammate for getting into problems with European players and that includes his act with the Minnesota Timberwolves’s Rudy Gobert when Green was ejected off the basketball floor for choke-holding him. Similarly, he found himself to be in trouble with Domantas Sabonis of the Sacramento Kings during the time of the playoffs of 2023.
Young said:
He's more of a cheap-shot guy. He's more of a cheap-shot guy, but he tends to do that to a lot of Europeans. He messing with nothing but foreigners. People don't like (Rudy) Gobert. He's the most unlikeable guy. But you don't run in there and grab somebody's neck. He had a lot of UFC in him. You know how he ran out? That's how they run down the ramp.Nick Young on Undisputed
Draymond Green was ejected off the floor when he hit the Suns’ center Nurkic in the third quarter of the game. Although Green was sorry about the whole situation and apologized to Nurkic, it was yet again a violent act on his end which may lead to some serious repercussions, but there isn’t anything official on this.
Skip Bayless comments on Draymond Green’s recent ejection
The Golden State Warriors went up against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, where the Warrior’s star forward Draymond Green found himself in trouble again for hitting the Sun’s center Jusuf Nurkic. In light of this act of Green, NBA analyst Skip Bayless shared his views on the star’s potential punishment and suggested that there is a possibility for him to be suspended for more than 10 games.
Bayless in his statement said:
It might be more than 10 games this time, because I can tell you this, this commissioner of this league is not going to like this one. Not on top of that one, and that one, and that one. Because this league cares about its image.Skip Bayless on Undisputed
But as of now, nothing is official from the side of the NBA on the star’s punishment. Draymond Green was already ejected from the basketball floor for choke-holding Minnesota Timberwolves’s Rudy Gobert which led the league to suspend him. It hasn’t been long since that, and again Green has winded himself in a similar situation.
