Although there are many things to say about Draymond Green, as a hype man, it’s important to have him on your side. Following the Golden State Warriors victory over the Philadelphia 76ers at home, the four-time champion offered some encouragement to a local sports star who has been the subject of intense scrutiny the entire season. In the face of criticism, he supported Brock Purdy, the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers.

After their NFC title victory over the Detroit Lions, Brock Purdy was awarded. With the win, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs were able to schedule a Super Bowl date. Shortly after the Warriors defeated the 76ers 119-107 at Chase Center on Tuesday, the veteran of the Golden State Warriors was asked about his feelings regarding the Super Bowl game.

The forward supported Purdy and the 49ers to win the Lombardi. Draymond Green supported Purdy in the postgame interview. He said,

I think it's going to be a great game. You talking about two great teams. There has been a lot of Brock Purdy slander over the past few years. I saw something that Stephen A Smith said, 'If Brock Purdy shows up in the Super Bowl, that’s it, no more questioning Brock Purdy.

Green aptly summarized the situation facing the rookie quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, but it may go much further. With all of the brilliance that surrounds Purdy, the expectations are much higher.

Draymond Green praised Jonathan Kuminga

Following Draymond Green’s return to the starting lineup, Jonathan Kuminga’s performances have reached unprecedented heights. One of the Golden State Warriors’ most reliable players on both ends of the court is the third-year forward. On Tuesday, he scored 26 points in the Philadelphia 76ers game. It enabled the Warriors to triumph in two games in a row.

After the game, Draymond addressed Kuminga’s potential to everyone. Green said,

It's his turn and he is going to carry us now. I think that's the maturation process. He's starting to carry us more than we carry him.

After the game, Green expressed his opinion to the media that Kuminga is the one who will lead the Warriors into the future.

Kuminga is now a regular starter in Steve Kerr‘s lineup. Kuminga, Green, and Andrew Wiggins form a strong frontcourt combination that appears to be the starting lineup for the remainder of the season.
