On Saturday, Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors clinched a thrilling 113-112 victory over the Phoenix Suns, with a heated exchange between Green and Jusuf Nurkic stealing the spotlight. This encounter marked their first meeting since the former’s return from an “indefinite suspension” resulting from an incident where he struck Nurkic in the face on December 12th.

Right from the start of the game, tensions ran wild as the two players engaged in physical play and traded verbal jabs. At one point in the game, Green retaliated with a jab at Nurkić after the Suns center directed the “too small” celebration towards him. The rivalry extended beyond the court to post-game press conferences and social media, where Jusuf Nurkic didn’t hold back in discussing Draymond’s ongoing dangerous behavior.

Jusuf Nurkic after the game said,

It’s sad. He didn’t learn anything. Just a matter of time. He’s going to hit somebody else again. Take back everything I said. He don’t deserve a chance.

Even though he stayed calm during the post-game conference, he couldn’t resist firing back at Nurkic, using his Instagram story as the battleground for their ongoing feud.

What did I do to not deserve a chance? Severely outplay you? I should’ve hopped on @draymondshow tonight. This is madness.

Afterward, he elevated the situation by tagging Shaquille O’Neal and The Big Podcast by Shaq. This move hints at a potential episode delving into the matter. However, fans will need to exercise patience as Shaq wraps up his commitments related to Super Bowl events in Las Vegas.

Shaquille O’Neal shares his opinion about modern NBA players

Shaquille O’Neal recently voiced his opinion on the current state of the NBA, expressing his belief that the league has become overly soft. Reflecting on his own era, where players competed without constant complaints and grievances, Shaq made it clear that he isn’t a fan of the modern NBA.

Shaq had in the past called out Suns’ center, Jusuf Nurkic for being soft after the encounter with Draymond Green last year. He said:

You're going to ruin what I created in the big man alliance. So for you to say, even thinking about saying you pressing charges, you're soft. This is something I would tell you to your face if I saw you.

He also went on to suggest that one reason Green struck him was because the Warriors forward understood that he wouldn’t hit back or engage in a physical altercation.

During his time in the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal competed in an era renowned as one of the toughest in league history. Known for his refusal to back down against opponents or provocateurs, Shaq’s tenacity on the court was unmistakable throughout his career.
