After the incident pertaining to him punching Jordan Poole became a massive problem, the former defensive player of the year received heavy backlash for turning against his own teammate. But this could potentially ruin his chances of finishing off his career with the Warriors.

Many rumors have been circulating about the forward possibly being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers to join forces with LeBron James. This would result in a brand new superteam and the second one he has participated in. Dray also should interest in playing with Bron during his contract dispute earlier.

As far as it goes, the NBA is strictly a business and money is the biggest factor that determines most players’ loyalty. The same goes with Draymond Green who is on his expiring year with the Warriors. He could opt in for his player extension or enter free agency.

Several experts believe that the only issue that hinders Green’s future is if the Dubs are willing to pay him heaps of money. He is currently going to be paid $25 million for the upcoming season and if he opts in for a player extension his salary for 2024 will be $27.6 million.

The Poole incident may not have any affect on his future as fights as such generally happen between teammates who do not agree. But if the Warriors do not agree for a four year extension, fans may as well consider him a Lakers player.
