“Horses**t” – Draymond Green FIRES SHOT at ex-teammate Jordan Poole, says it was ‘hard to come to work’ last year
Last year, Draymond Green attributed the team's lack of chemistry to his former teammate, Jordan Poole, stating that it made it challenging to come to work.

The Golden State Warriors were coming into last season after winning their fourth championship in eight years and Stephen Curry had finally won his first Finals MVP. The team was expected to repeat as champions as their core looked in prime form and Jordan Poole rose to stardom after proving himself as the second-best offensive option for the teams.
All the chemistry that was built between the team shattered during the offseason after an incident took place during training camp, where Draymond Green punched Jordan Poole during a practice session causing Poole to get knocked down. Following the incident, Poole signed a huge extension with the team but had lost all confidence on the floor.
The Warriors went from the third seed in the 2021-22 season and fell to the sixth seed barely making the playoffs in the 2022-23 season with only 44 wins falling from 53 wins. The major factor was the lack of chemistry on the floor especially between Poole and Draymond which caused the bench production for the Warriors to fall.
After their buzzer-beating win against the Sacramento Kings, Draymond talked about how last year was a different story than this year and said that it was hard to come to play last year.
Green said:
Last year was horsesh*t. It was hard to come to work.
Draymond Green and the Warriors get off to a strong start to the season
After a rough season last year where the Golden State Warriors finished with only 44 wins, the Warriors have started the season strong and seem to capture the spark they had during their 2021-22 championship season. They lost their opening game against the Phoenix Suns, which was especially because they were missing Draymond Green.
Once they got Draymond back, they haven’t lost a game and their new addition of veteran Chris Paul has allowed their bench unit to flourish and have massive success. With all the pieces in place, barring injuries it is possible that the Warriors might be able to win another championship and establish themselves as the best dynasty since the 90s Chicago Bulls.
