“I have never seen him like that” Draymond Green gets called out by his own mom over horrid play

The Golden State Warriors won 107-97 in a game that went down to the wire, tying the series at 2-2 and sending the Finals back to San Francisco for Game 5. To the satisfaction of the Boston fans, Warriors star Draymond Green turned in yet another poor effort in the NBA Finals, scoring only two points on 1-of-7 shooting to avoid a 3-1 deficit. He also had nine rebounds, eight assists, and four steals to go along with two turnovers, but no one on the squad thought he was a plus.
It’s grown to a point where even the Warriors star’s mother is confused about what’s going on. Mary Babers, Draymond’s mother, said she’s irritated by people asking what’s wrong with her son and she has no idea what’s wrong with him. She had no idea what had happened to a player who had been a key part of the Warriors’ offense since Kerr’s first championship and she isn’t ruling out the possibility of her son being replaced by a clone.
Despite Draymond Green’s lackluster performance, the Warriors win Game 4 and tie the series with Stephen Curry’s 43 points.

In Golden State’s 107-97 victory, Stephen Curry scored 43 points, spoiling Boston’s chance to take a commanding series lead. In the fourth quarter, Klay Thompson scored eight of his 18 points, including a 3-pointer that gave the Warriors a 95-94 advantage they would not cede in the last four minutes. Meanwhile, Warriors coach Steve Kerr made a dramatic choice to take Draymond Green out of the game during the fourth quarter before bringing him back in for the final minutes. Green just had two points on offence, but he did have nine rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.

Green’s mom tweets “Maybe this is a CLONE!” after a terrible showing by her son.

“Please ppl stop asking me what’s wrong with Dray…” she said on a tweet. She also added: “I DONT KNOW! Maybe this is a CLONE!WHERE IS THE Draymond that helped get us here!!.Green has performed terribly through the first four games, and the supporters have not been shy about telling him so, but now his own mother has joined in on the fun. Babers Green, like her son, isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and she’s aimed it directly at her own blood in a furious roasting.
Green has yet to score in double figures in the 2022 NBA Finals, is shooting 6-of-26, and has more personal fouls (18) than points (17). His performance in the Finals has become a big storyline, and it will weigh heavily in Game 5 when the Warriors try to take their first series lead at their home court on Monday.
