“Boy gotta focus on tape instead of his podcasts” – Draymond Green GETS COOKED by NBA Twitter for sneak dissing Lonnie Walker
Draymond Green gets real on Lonnie Walker taking over in 4th Quarter of Game 4 against Warriors

The Golden State Warriors go down the 3-1 hole after two road losses against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Dubs seem to stumble yet again, as the team had lost Game 1 at home. The Lakers, on the other hand, took the home-court advantage, winning Games 3 and 4. Led by LeBron James, the team didn’t look to any of its stars to take down the Warriors in Game 4. Draymond Green’s turnover in the end and Curry’s two missed shots had them lost the game, though behind all this was one unexpected Laker performance.
Lonnie Walker, the role player coming off the bench, saved the day for the Lakers in the fourth quarter. After locking down on defense against Stephen Curry and making clutch shots, Walker played a big role in Game 4. Being the reason for their win and putting his team ahead in the series. Walker received praise from all around the internet. Draymond Green had words for the 24-year-old as well.
Green believed that the Dubs did a pretty great job holding off LeBron James and Anthony Davis, though Walker’s surge was different. “I thought we did an incredible job of wearing down both AD and LeBron down… Lonnie Walker beats you, you kinda gotta live with it,” said Green. Walker had 15 points, scoring all of them in the fourth quarter. Out of all the players on the bench, no one expected Lonnie to come up clutch in such a pivotal game.
The Warriors had the game right under their control. Entering the fourth with a seven-point lead, the Dubs seemed good enough to extend it. Walker’s sinister performance had the Warriors in shock.
“You tip your hat to Lonnie Walker. That’s a guy who’s been in and out of the lineup… On the biggest stage, he came through. We were right there at tying the series up 2-2 and he came through and he beat us.”, added Green. While he did hold some valid points, fans on Twitter had to bash him for his own performance.
Twitteratis show no mercy to Draymond Green
Though Draymond and the Dubs did a decent job holding off the primary scorers of the Lakers, their fourth-quarter blunder might have cost them the series. Stephen Curry missed two clutch shots, and Green’s turnover right after had the game sealed for the Lakers. While Green’s clutch performance was held in question, some Twitter fans believed Green wanted the Lakers to win.
With the Lakers up 3-1, the series will continue in the Bay area, as the Dubs will host Game 5. Recovering from this deficit won’t be easy at all, though it would be interesting to see how far the Warriors can take this series.
