“People think they are going to get mad at someone for….” Draymond Green goes off on Kim Kardashian haters over Met Gala issue
Draymond Green and Kim Kardashian
Draymond Green, the marquee figure of Golden State Warriors’ back-court went flat-out on Wednesday to defend television star Kim Kardashian as fans brutally mocked her for losing weight? As weird as it seems? These high-profiled stars are often spoken off for literally every and all of their doings, but this time Kim found an unexpected ‘Warrior’ to defend her in the form of Draymond Green.
To those who are not aware Kim Kardashian has been receiving a lot of backlashes after her 2022 Met Gala appearance wherein she worse a dress worn by Marilyn Monroe as per BBC. When questioned upon his attire, Kim went onto reveal how difficult was it for her to fit into that dress and that she lost 7Kgs in only three weeks to ace that look. Perhaps just when fans had enough material to mock her for days to come.

Draymond Green defends KUWTK star
Draymond Green has seen all the hate directed towards Kim and couldn’t help but question why “people really think they have the right to get mad at the food someone does/doesn’t eat.”
In response to the talks about Kim Kardashian promoting unrealistic and unhealthy diet, Draymond Green noted that it is for the parents to guide and teach their children properly.
“Y’all have y’all own idea of what celebrities/fame entails. And those ideas range far left and far right. But what I am certain it doesn’t entail is raising someone else’s children for them. If you are mad at something a celebrity does because of how it may affect your child.” Green added in his lengthy Twitter rant.
He added, “You are FAILING as a parent! And, it’s tough to fail at something that doesn’t have a grade/handbook to even define what passing or failing actually means. Do better people and stop expecting folks you see on TV to do for your kid what your parents did or should’ve done for you.”
Perhaps how these stars and celebrities use the main-stage platform, given their reach will always be a matter of debate. But for Green to come out and display his views in a well-versed, brutal manner, he does make a valid point.
