Rumors circulated that Ja Morant‘s father, Tee Morant, may have had a hand in his son’s recent problems. Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green came to the defense of Tee. Green denied that Tee was the main cause of the issues. Despite unsettling allegations and strange occurrences that damaged Ja’s reputation, Green’s defense became a surprise. The story going around the basketball community was called into question by Green’s Instagram post.
According to an ESPN story, Tee’s conspicuous attendance at games and events may have contributed to Ja’s difficulties; however, Green strongly contests this assertion. Some have accused Ja’s father, Tee, who has adopted the NBA lifestyle with his son, as the cause of the attention focused on Ja’s personal life.
This is what Draymond Green wrote on his Instagram story:
Oh no. Let’s not remove another black father from they child life. They not going for it anyway outta Sumter.

Draymond Green allegedly declined a dinner peace offering from Jordan Poole after the punching incident
The Ringer recently reported that following Draymond Green’s hit to Jordan Poole in the face, head coach Steve Kerr tried to settle the situation. There were conflicts within the Warriors’ team due to the preseason event.
According to reporter Logan Murdock, Green turned down a peace dinner despite Kerr’s attempts to mediate a reunion. Poole was subsequently traded to the Washington Wizards in exchange for veteran guard Chris Paul as a result of the consequences of the altercation.
Green previously defended the punch on his podcast by referencing offensive remarks made by Poole, though he did not provide specifics. The story did not provide the reasons behind Green’s rejection. Conversely, Poole stated that he wanted to put the event behind him and concentrate on his significance to the Wizards.
Former Warriors star Kevin Durant disclosed that Poole asked for his counsel. It demonstrated Poole’s openness to growing and learning. While there was yet hope for a reconciliation between Green and Poole, Stephen Curry, a prominent player for the Warriors, stated that he thought the two adults should work together to establish a common ground.
