Draymond Green and Jusuf Nurkic exchanged “too small” celebration on each other
The NBA is famous for innovative celebrations during games. One of the player’s favorites is the “too small” celebration. It basically means saying that the defender is too short or small to guard them. Players love to do this after destroying the defense and scoring for the team.
On Saturday, in the Warriors vs Suns game, after a play, Nurkic did the celebration on Green’s defense. But just a few minutes later Green finished the layup on the 7ft center and returned the celebration on Nurkic who failed to guard the play. NBA fans were excited to see such competitive behavior in a close game.
Nurkic being a physically bigger player than Green was called out by Green in the post-game interview. He said Nurkic needs to be careful if he is going to get the celebration exchanged just sometime later, with even Stephen Curry getting in on the act.
