“I don’t throw salt on anyone who can build a championship team” Draymond Green rips LeBron James haters citing difficulty to make finals run
Draymond Green and LeBron James
One defender who has perhaps seen the epic rise and wrath of LeBron James is Warriors’ marquee Draymond Green. Having faced the 37-year-old marquee scorer plenty of times in the NBA Finals, Green decided to answer back to all James’ haters to have criticised him for building a championship winning team.
While both LeBron and Draymond have won championship with different teams, both are aware upon how to lead their team day-in-day-out. In a recent interview with ClutchPoints, the former DPOY went onto reveal his interesting take on how championship teams can be built. And more so, how difficult it is to do so.

What was opinionated by Draymond Green?
“I have an appreciation for any team that can put together a championship roster,” Green told ClutchPoints. “I don’t care if you draft those guys or you get those guys in free agency. Putting together a championship roster is hard.”
To talk statically, Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors have made five appearances in the NBA Finals and won three times. To think about those spoken off five trips, on four of those, their opponent was a LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers.
“The last decade has been kind of an anomaly because LeBron switched teams,” Green said. “But in most decades, you usually get two teams with one sprinkled in there that wins the championship. It’s a very tough thing to do. So, I don’t throw salt on anybody who can build a championship team.”
That being said, Green will be fully focused upon once making Warriors reach the highest possible limits, now when he is alongside the splash-brother, Jordan Poole and other young studs. Given that the Warriors have taken an early advantage over the Memphis Grizzlies, hopefully Draymond Green could once again show the world how a championship can be won.
With FedExForum all set to host the Golden State Warriors for Game 2, it will be interesting to see which team manages to come out on top? Especially after they are fully aware of each other’s voids and strengths. Remains to be seen.
