“I’ve seen a banter of clown talk about how he cannot perform in big games” Draymond Green says Stephen Curry was super-impressive in Game 5 vs Nuggets

Draymond Green and Stephen Cury
It took just 5-games for the Golden State Warriors to thrown out Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets from the first-round playoffs. While the former team experimented a lot in this particular round of fames, bringing Stephen Curry off the bench, Draymond Green feels that his friend and teammate showed just how big of a superstar he is, by completely ending the chances of the opposition to make comeback.

To those who are not aware, there has always been a perception raised in the media that Stephen Curry finds it incredibly difficult to perform in big games and deliver clutch performances. So, after clinching the first-round series, Green decided to go home and record his opinion on the latest episode the ‘The Draymond Green Show’.
Draymond Green comes out to defend teammate Stephen Curry after Warriors vs Nuggets Game 5

“Steph Curry was absolutely incredible. Took over the second half, got every matchup he wanted. And you know what I loved the most is? He got the 3 going, but then he said forget the 3, I’m gonna go to the hole every single time, and he started getting to the cup.”
He added, “And that put the game away. I mean, it was absolutely incredible. I’ve been seeing the banter of clowns talking about, ‘Oh, Steph Curry doesn’t show up in big games and blah blah blah.’ Like, shut up! That don’t even make sense.

“Nonetheless, No. 30 went into the lineup, and he carried us home, and it was absolutely incredible.”
After winning over the Nuggets, the Warriors will either lock horns against the resilient Memphis Grizzlies or the unpredictable Minnesota Timberwolves. Both of whom have great combination of youth and youth, just like the Warriors. How will the Golden State Warriors be able to frame their new-developed strategies in the semi-final round? Will surely have a lot of eyeballs to witness the same.

But for now, one has to applaud the effort of Warriors, Green and Curry, who have become the first team in the Western Conference to cement their place in the next round of games.
