Draymond Green sends fans into a frenzy with presence at Super Bowl game

The NFL Super Bowl LVIII was billed to be the biggest sporting spectacle of the year. Naturally, it drew the who’s who of the celebrity as well as the sports world. With many big-name attendees jetting into Las Vegas to catch the championship game, there were a few notable NBA superstars in attendance. But when Golden State Warriors superstar Draymond Green landed at the airport, it drew some notable comments from keen-eyed basketball fans.

Draymond Green was one of many notable basketball superstars who attended the Super Bowl. However, only he and LeBron James were current generation stars in the stands. The game between the San Fransisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs along with the Super Bowl Half-Time performance was too good to pass. With his history of aggressive behavior on the court, fans could not help but troll the Warriors defensive ace for his visit.

Green and James were sitting in a luxury box alongside their agent, Rich Paul. Green and James are known to be football fans. They catch games at home whenever possible. Hence, it was not surprising to see them pull for the biggest game of the year.

The problem for Green has been his behavior this year. He was initially suspended for 5 games for his choke hold on Rudy Gobert. Then in December, he hit Jusuf Nurkic in the face, which drew an indefinite suspension from the league.

Fans cannot help but troll Draymond Green for pulling up for Super Bowl

Draymond Green has been an integral part of the Warriors’ successful run of 4 NBA Championships. These suspensions have blown Green’s reputation to tatters. Yes, he was known for his aggressive way of playing. But the incidents since the second half of last season have changed the narrative around him.
