Draymond Green on sis evolving mindset and unbreakable brotherhood with LeBron James.
LeBron James and Draymond Green
In a recent episode of ‘Podcast P,’ Draymond Green, the star forward for the Golden State Warriors, opened up about his friendship with NBA icon LeBron James. Green, who once considered James a strong rival, revealed that their relationship has grown into a brotherhood over the years.
Green acknowledged that when he steps on the court, there are no friends, and he used to approach every game with a mindset of hatred towards his opponents. However, as he has matured in his career, he has learned to separate personal relationships from his on-court mentality.
“As I’ve gotten older in my career, I don’t just go out on the court with the ‘I hate you’ mindset. And I used to go out with the ‘I hate you’ mindset to everybody and not be able to separate the two,” Green said to Paul George on the podcast.
The 31-year-old forward highlighted the strength of his bond with LeBron James, stating, “That’s my big brother, love him to death, and ain’t nothing changing that. The only thing changing that is our relationship continues to grow.”
He advised fans not to concern themselves with his relationships, as they have no impact on their lives.“What I’m here to tell people is you probably shouldn’t concern yourself with that because there’s nothing you can do about it, and it doesn’t affect your life,” Green said. “So you probably shouldn’t invest your time in wondering about our relationship.”

Rumors of Green joining forces with James laid to rest
Speculation about Draymond Green potentially teaming up with LeBron James reached a high point when the two were seen together in France a few weeks ago. Green’s decision to decline his $27.6 million player option with the Golden State Warriors immediately after the meeting only added fuel to the rumors.
However, the rumors were put to rest when Green ultimately returned to the Warriors. He recently signed a lucrative four-year, $100 million contract with the team, securing his future with the Golden State franchise.
The veteran forward’s new deal includes a player option in the final year, giving him flexibility in the future. Despite the temptation of joining forces with LeBron James, Green’s commitment to the Warriors is clear.
As the new NBA season approaches, fans can look forward to witnessing the continued rivalry and friendship between Draymond Green and LeBron James. Their on-court battles are sure to be intense, Green himself stated that their brotherly relationship is unbreakable off the court.
