The Golden State Warriors won the game against the Phoenix Suns (113-112) on Saturday. Both teams put up a show for basketball fans. The teams were constantly going back and forth to take leads. In the close game, Steph Curry hit a clutch three-pointer with a second remaining. But the game was yet not finished.
After Curry’s shot from behind the arc, the Suns called timeout which gave them the possession. With 0.7 seconds left, Devin Booker was fouled by Andrew Wiggins. After the timer ran out, the Warriors reviewed the foul. After reviewing Suns were given possession with 0.6 on the clock. The ball was passed to Kevin Durant but he could not make the shot credits to Draymond Green‘s defense.
Green could not help but taunt his ex-teammate after the elite defense. The Warrior’s forward was seen yelling in Durant’s face. The defensive play by Green was the decider of the Sun’s loss. The exciting victory gave the Warriors the 4th win in the last 5 games.
Green is back from his suspension last month. The star’s defensive impact has changed the Warriors’ performance in the last few games. It has helped them stabilize on both ends.
