“He did not go aggressively to Jordan Poole” Draymond Green’s mom gets unimaginably controversial while defending son amid breaking Warriors’ unity fiasco
Draymond Green turned into the NBA’s biggest villain once again. Usually, he is known for his hyper active nature and quarrels on the court with his opponents while also getting very physical at times. Leaving all those instances aside, the 4x Champion has his own reasons to be respected.
After the very recent issue that took place during the Golden State Warriors practice, his mother wanted to give the world a piece of her mind on Twitter. She said,“They can get beyond this. Anything is fixable! Everything ain’t always what you think you see!”
Mary Babers Green continued,“That wasn’t a Sucker punch. Dray didn’t aggressively go to Poole. His hands were down. Man to Man you go over to talk (to ask what’s up, what you say)! Got shoved and reacted.. End of story!” In order to protect herself, she deactivated her account and announced it on Twitter before doing so.
Draymond Green addresses the world about the “sucker punch”
It seems as though Draymond Green is owning up to his actions after knocking the lights out of teammate Jordan Poole. TMZ released a video of the altercation and people were not pleased about what they saw. It was later revealed that Poole called Green “Triple-single” repeatedly which triggered him.
In an interview on the radio, the forward revealed that, “’Hurt people’, hurt people. … I hurt someone because I was in a place of hurt.” It comes to no surprise that those comments struck a nerve as Draymond Green has obviously not been the greatest stat-getter.
Head Coach Steve Kerr revealed that Green was fined but the Warriors have no intention on suspending him from play. He plays a vital role on defense for the Warriors and his absence could damage them. Fans were not entirely happy that his mother took his side.
