Dwight Howard has dropped his lawsuit against Masin Elije for exposing him as a bisexual

In 2019, former NBA All-Star Dwight Howard became embroiled in a controversy when he filed a lawsuit against Masin Elije. Elije claimed that Howard was bisexual, which did not sit right with Howard, and he filed a defamation case against Elije. But, Howard has now dropped the lawsuit against Elije. This prompted a response from Elije, seemingly suggesting that the allegations were true.

Dwight Howard filed a lawsuit after Elije broke an NDA and claimed that Howard was bisexual. After that, in 2023, a man named Stephen Harper accused Howard of s*xually assaulting Harper and engaging in s*xual acts without Harper’s consent.

Now, as reported by VladTV, the lawsuit against Elije has been dropped as it was about to enter the trial stage. The last thing Howard needed was to go to trial for this lawsuit after admitting to having s*xual relations with men in court. There was no way the lawsuit would stand after Howard’s admission.

Harper filed a lawsuit against Howard in 2023 for the assault that happened in 2021. Since these allegations came out, Howard’s case against Elije became weak. Even though a few other rumors about Howard’s sexual orientation were floating around, the lack of evidence quashed those rumors. But the Harper lawsuit changed the narrative around Howard.

His former wife Te’a Cooper also suggested that the former Los Angeles Lakers star’s affairs with multiple people led to their divorce. It seems that with Harper’s case and his admissions in court, Howard would not be able to prove that Elije was wrong. Dwight Howard’s personal life seems to be in a mess.

Masin Elije responds after Dwight Howard dropped the lawsuit

Till the time Dwight Howard had Masin Elije entangled with a court summon, he was fine. Elije could not speak what was the truth. Now, after the lawsuit has been withdrawn, Elije leapt onto social media and wrote on X;

No lies were told and no money is owed! Love that for a mufucka that NEVER lies.

Elije kept the reality in check after leaving a subtle hint against Howard’s claim that he never lied about his sexual orientation. Elije seemed to have drawn a certain victory from the entire episode. The truth has come out after almost 5 years since Elije was forced to shut up.

Dwight Howard played 18 seasons in the NBA, winning the title in 2020. When he was in the league, there was not much of a scandal except those with the mothers of his children. But Elije’s public announcement of Howard’s sexual orientation was the first drop.

Now, with that lawsuit out of the way, Howard has to fight against the one filed by Harper. But today, Masin Elije is the winner. Elije was right about Howard’s bisexual affinity all this time.
