Former Lakers big man Dwight Howard mentions having more than a dozen snakes in his home. Given their huge guaranteed contracts, NBA players don’t exactly live modest lives. Snakes are one of the strangest and scariest pets that the three-time DPOY owns at home. In 2020, he was sued by two women, which increased the mystery around him.
Unfortunately, Howard is engaged in an odd legal dispute despite having made so much money. Armica Nabaa and Kamisha Shelman filed a lawsuit against the former DPOY for $50,000 plus additional damages. Moreover, he didn’t compensate them for taking care of his collection of exotic snakes. After they had been employed by Howard, the NBA player abruptly sacked them in January 2020. He apparently still owes them a significant sum of money for their services. In addition to additional costs and damages, the women are now requesting $50,000 in unpaid salaries.

According to the lawsuit, Howard allegedly recruited Nabaa and Shelman to perform personal management services in December 2018. The women initially thought they would be in charge of Howard’s business concerns, but this also included looking after his collection of exotic snakes. According to the lawsuit, the athlete has several snakes, including the enormous constrictor Cleopatra, who weighs about 200 pounds.
Nabaa even went so far as to claim that by linking him with the Los Angeles Lakers, she was able to save his NBA career. She was thanked by Dwight Howard in a televised interview, which is said to have validated this. The Lakers big man presently has thirteen snakes, but he formerly owned nearly fifty.
