“The refs are paid” Fans burst upon NBA officials as Al Horford jumps upon Stephen Curry’s leg for a no-foul call
Stephen Curry and Al Horford
Al Horford has made it to the NBA headlines after many blame him and the refs for the injured Stephen Curry who was limping after a play to get the ball. The series has already become very physical and controversial and we are not even halfway in. Many blame the game officials for being partial and selectively calling out fouls. But nothing about it can be confirmed as every time fans of either two team get their feelings hurt and this time it was the Dub Nation as the loose ball play with Al Horford involved had Stephen Curry injured in the fourth quarter. The last quarter of the game was spiced up and full of action as both the teams wanted to get the early lead after the series was tied at 1-1 and the Jayson Tatum-led Boston Celtics got the job done as they manhandled the Warriors in the last minutes.
The Boston Celtics hosted the Golden State Warriors at TD Garden for Game 3 of the NBA Finals. It was so far the best game of the series as both the teams had many unreal runs and everything came down to the last quarter. The Celtics built themselves a good lead and had the game under good control for the first two quarters. But the Warriors bounced back in the third quarter as Stephen Curry got himself 15 big points and they at one point were also leading the game after being down by 18 points. But the fortunate stretch didn’t last long enough to win it all.
As the Jayson Tatum led Boston Celtics with Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart backing the team up, got the dub. The Celtics didn’t give up after the godlike run of the Warriors in the third quarter and stayed locked in holding down the Warriors to just 11 points in the fourth quarter which eventually won them the game. The final box score stands at 116-100 favoring the Celtics a 16 points embarrassing loss for the Dubs. The Boston Celtics now lead the finals by 2-1.
Stephen Curry though in the game fell on the unfortunate losing end but he still is the favorite one to win the FMVP but again that’s pretty unpredictable as the Celtics are taking over. The Chef was surely cooking in Game 3 too but not as good as a two-way player. He got himself 31 points, 2 assists, and 4 rebounds and left the game a bit early with a foot injury in a loose ball play because of Al Horford (11 points, 6 assists, and 8 rebounds). The fans for that one particular play are very critical of Al Horford and the refs as they believe the call was sold and the refs decided to ride with the Celtics by not calling out Al Horford for a foul.
