Delonte West was spotted loitering outside seven-eleven by fans after he made it to the NBA headlines as he was back on the streets panhandling after getting snubbed out of Ice Cubes’ Big 3-on-3 basketball league. It’s not the first time for the star guard to make it to the headlines for going broke or coming out on the street to beg. As he has seen worst days in his life. Delonte West was one of the best point guards in business during his college days as he led his team St. Joseph’s to the elite eight and a 30-2 record. He was also known as the best basketball backcourt alongside Jameer Nelson. But soon he experienced the downfall and since has been stuck in it.

He was drafted 24th overall by the Boston Celtics in 2004 and since then has been shipped across many teams and even different leagues in different countries. Delonte West also played alongside LeBron James at the Cleveland Cavaliers where he became the most controversial player as there were rumors of him sleeping with Brons’ mother. He was also traded soon after and since then has always been on the wheels. As his bipolar disorder always landed him in trouble.

According to Forbes, Delonte West made around $16 million throughout his 8-year NBA career and he was said to have only $100,000 of the $16 million wealth he had earned as a pro in 2016 whereas his current net worth is $1,000 or less. As he is back on the streets and requesting help. Mark Cuban even showed up last year as he is someone who stands for his people and Delonte West spent a good year with the Dallas Mavericks and Mark has already helped him in the past. Even LeBron James was ready to do whatever it takes to get him back on his feet but Cuban got the job done.

But even after all the help he almost got himself booked and was even addicted to drugs and now after not making it to the Big 3-on-3 league, he is back on the streets not homeless probably but almost broke. Fans are heartbroken and disappointed watching all videos and photos of him begging for help as he was their star or at least the player they cheered for once.
