“N**ga just lied on a dead n**ga I ain’t think this was possible” Fans caught LeBron James off guard while paying tribute to Takeoff

Takeoff, LeBron James with the Miami Heat

LeBron James, the star forward for the LA Lakers, seems to have taken the horrific murder of Migos rapper Takeoff very hard. James, who has a tendency for lying frequently, didn’t help his situation on Sunday night when he claimed to have heard the Migos in 2010 and fans immediately called him out for lying.

The news of Takeoff, a rapper from the Migos, being shot and murdered broke last week. At a private party held at a Houston bowling alley, where the Grammy-winning rapper, 28, was attending, shots were exchanged. In the end, it was found that he had been shot twice, once in the head and once in the body, and had deceased there and then. By donning in the rapper’s signature clothing for the game and posting his thoughts on Instagram, LeBron James paid tribute to the late artist.

In the post game press conference, the four-time NBA champion began by mentioning how long he has been a fan of Migos, beginning more than 12 years even before they were well-known. He stated: “For me, I’ve been listening to those guys for so long. I was listening to those guys my first year with the Heat in 2010. And you can ask any one of my teammates back then, they had no idea who the Migos was.” The fact that Migos’ debut mixtape wasn’t released until August 2011 was quickly brought up by fans, who went into a frenzy pointing out how much of a liar LeBron is.

LeBron James failed to pay tribute to Takeoff as the Lakers lost to Cavs

Due to the explosive backcourt’s return from injury, the Cleveland Cavaliers overcame the Los Angeles Lakers 114-100 on Sunday. Thanks to the 33 points from Donovan Mitchell and 24 points from Darius Garland. The Cavaliers have now won eight consecutive matches after outscoring Los Angeles 56-36 in the horrible second half, which eventually determined the game’s final outcome. With 16 more points from Jarrett Allen and 12 from Caris LeVert, the Cavaliers improved to 8-1 and extended their longest winning streak since 2017.

Despite having 27 points, James failed to win his tribute game for Takeoff as he lost to his beloved Cavs for just the second time in 19 matchups. Anthony Davis finished with 19 points on 7 of 12 shooting, 12 rebounds, four assists, and one blocked shot for the Lakers, who lost their second straight home game and dropped to 2-7. The Lakers were totally helpless against Mitchell and Garland, despite Russell Westbrook’s 19 points, 10 assists, and seven turnovers in a bench role.

Fans react to LeBron shooting out lies about Takeoff and the Migos

In the same presser, James mentioned that: “I would play it throughout the weight room or play it throughout the locker room. I was like ‘I’m telling you, these guys are going to be next, I’m letting you know right now.’ They was like ‘Turn this off.’” The Migos released their first well-known mixtape in 2011, so LeBron definitely had to have this reality cooked up having heard about them before that year and to play their music in the Heat locker room.

The Twitter went crazy after LeBron’s failed attempt on lying about facts:

Even though most of these lies are genuine and shouldn’t have any significance on anyone’s life, it’s still funny to see LeBron get himself into this mess.
