“Game 7 was RIGGED” Fans enraged by refs waving off Max Strus’ valid 3-pointer which could have won Miami Heat the EC Finals

The NBA playoffs have always been out controversial calls which perhaps edges one team over the other. With stakes being ever so high in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, refs were able to secure the headlines as well, after a valid Max Strus 3-pointer was waived off. Celtics winning the game 100-96, could Strus’ 3-pointer early in the second quarter have made a difference? Skip Bayless certainly feels so.

To those who are not aware, Miami Heat might have had Tyler Herro back, but he did not step on the court in the entire second half. With Herro out, Max Strus had the responsibility to take care of shots from downtown and he certainly made one in the second half. But with a rapid replay, it was eventually waived off by the refs. However, when further detailed upon it, Strus’ heel never came down on the floor. Take a look at the video below.

Skip Bayless details upon Max Strus’ 3-pointer being waved off

Bayless stated, “AGAIN I ASK: WHAT IF THE NBA HADN’T WIPED OFF STRUS’ THREE EARLY IN THE SECOND HALF. IT DID NOT LOOK LIKE HIS HEEL CAME DOWN ON THE LINE.”

To think about it, if Max Strus’ 3-pointer wasn’t waived off by the refs, it could have given Miami Heat an advantage with the late 11-0 run in the fourth quarter. Would Jimmy Butler have tried the 3-pointer to win it all in the dying seconds? Perhaps it will always be a question. But as things stand, it is the Boston Celtics who have won the Eastern Conference Championship.

Take a look at how fans reacted upon the same-

Talking about the individual performance, it was once again a Jimmy Butler as he knocked game-high 35 points, while Bam Adebayo scored a significant double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds. On the other hand, Celtics had their Big 3 firing as well, with Jayson Tatum having team-high 26 points and 10 rebounds. While Smart and Brown had 24 points each.

With the last two remaining teams all set, the NBA Finals is set to commence from June 2? Who among these two giants is going to draw first blood? Remains to be seen.
