Monty Williams is all over the NBA headlines as he really is a real one and deserves way more respect than given. As he isn’t just a head coach in the league but a special guy who’s been fulfilling all his necessary and unnecessary duties around while heading the Phoenix Suns. Recently, Month Williams gave Stephen Silas a long emotional hug which surely comforted the Rockets’ head coach.
Recently, Stephen Silas lost his father, Paul Silas. Paul was also a basketball legend and NBA champion. He was great as a player and even as a coach too. He was LeBron James’ first Head Coach in the league. It’s really a difficult time for Stephen Silas but he is trying to bounce back. As he was back with the Rockets after taking some days off to stay with his family in these challenging times.
The Suns missed most of their key players and stars on the roster and eventually lost the game against the Houston Rockets. Monty Williams though after the game cared the least about the results and went on to comfort Stephen Silas. As he gave the Rockets’ head coach a long emotional hug and some words of motivation with some taps to let him know he’s a friend and around.
Monty Williams lost on the court but won it all off-court with his actions. The Rockets registered a dub at 111-97 against the short-handed Phoenix Suns. Jalen Green ran the offensive end for the Rockets and dropped 26 points, 4 assists and 7 rebounds while Chris Paul and the squad made the best possible efforts to answer him back. But those weren’t enough to win.
