“Man’s looking for steph like a phantom limb” – Fans react to Draymond Green longing for Stephen Curry as he dishes the ball out to no-one in the corner

Draymond Green
Draymond Green is uniquely gifted with a defensive mindset, but he is underappreciated for his exceptional ability to push the pace of the ball, especially in transition plays. He does lets go of the ball within a fraction of a second, which has helped the Golden State Warriors beat the best defenses in the league. However, last night his same unique game plan worked against him as Stephen Curry is sidelined and healing.
With over 5 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter, the Dubs were leading by 86-70 against the Toronto Raptors. Draymond Green received a pass from Jordan Poole in the paint area. Right after receiving the pass, Green to everyone’s confusion turned around and threw the ball, anticipating a Warriors player, probably Stephen Curry to be there. But unfortunately, the reality was very different.
The ball went directly to the Raptors’ bench and just like that the Warriors got another turnover. However, with much relief to Green, the Warriors defeated the Toronto Raptors by a big margin 110-125. It was their 15th win of the season in 31 games so far, and now they stand in the 12th spot behind Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference.
Filling in the starting line-up for Curry’s absence from the team, Jordan Poole scored 43 points. He made 14 of 23 shots from the field and dropped 6 dimes too. This was the Warriors’ first win in five of Stephen Curry’s absences.
